The Beautiful South are rehearsing their new material as we speak and as you are aware a new album is expected early 2006!
Some people believe that in order to continue recording The Beautiful South will have to see some sort of chart success with this, their 10th Studio Album!

Paul Heaton and Dave Rotheray have been writing new material and the band have held initial rehearsals – recording is scheduled to begin in late October with a view to releasing a new album under the Sony label in the early half of 2006 – it is envisaged that there will be an accompanying tour of the UK
